Is La Solution cruelty-free? Do you test on animals? 

La Solution operates in a 100% cruelty-free manner, and none of our products are ever tested on animals. Instead, we use a rigorous process that involves raw material safety testing, human testing, and scientific literature to ensure each of our products is safe and efficient.

 

Are your products organic? 

As a clean beauty brand, we ensure that none of our products are harmful to your health. That is why we are committed to providing non-toxic, organic alternatives for most skincare ingredients available on the market. Products with organic ingredients will have the word “organic” in their ingredient list and the products that are certified organic will be labelled as such on their packaging. Overall, you can be assured that La Solution products are/have: 

 

 

Are skincare products made with organic ingredients better? 

Your skin can absorb up to 64% of the product you apply to it. Many mainstream skincare brands contain toxic ingredients that get absorbed by your skin and harm your health. This is partially because numerous Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-approved pesticides were registered years before scientists discovered their connection to cancer and other diseases and mainstream brands continue to use them without being penalised. Organic beauty products contain ingredients that were grown without toxic herbicides, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and fertilisers, meaning they are far safer for you and more sustainable for the environment. 

 

What is the difference between natural and organic?

Since the word “natural” is not regulated, many brands that use a few nature-sourced ingredients in their products call them natural to appear non-toxic and safe. Beware that using the term “natural” is often just done for marketing purposes and has little substantial meaning. 

 

However, if a product is labelled organic in Canada, it means it was regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), which ensures that producers have proven that their organic claims are true and have met all commodity-specific requirements. Organic ingredients come from sources that farm without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilisers. Do note, though, that a brand name containing the word organic or a variation (like “Organique”) does not mean they use all organic ingredients (and they may not use any at all).

What is your return policy? 

Using the purest organic ingredients and a premium manufacturing process to formulate our products, we are confident about the quality and efficacy of all La Solution items. Therefore, all our sales are final. We make an exception for defective products which may be returned to us for a full refund minus shipping costs. 

Can I replace a defective item? 

If you receive a defective item, please reach out to our customer service department within 24 hours of receipt to have it replaced. Your replacement product will be sent out as soon as we receive the defective item. Kindly note that we will ask for product pictures of the defect for internal quality assurance and development purposes. 

What if my product gets lost? 

Please note that all our products are shipped securely through Canada Post. So, if for some reason your product gets lost in the mail, kindly contact the courier as we are not responsible for any lost or damaged packages.
